I'm looking up sentences for people who have shot someone in the face. Most of them are during robberies and it seems like they get 20+ years...

If she lives, and he is charged with attempted murder with his past he'll probably get around 20 years. If it's just 1st degree assault he'll probably get around 10 years. If she dies, he is probably looking at 25 to life. There's no way in hell it was self defense. He was obviously probably drunk off his ass and she did or said something to provoke him or like that one guy said, a drug deal gone bad

The girl has been upgraded from critical to serious condition, so looks like she'll live. I don't think he'll get the death sentence for attempted murder, if that's what they even charge him with. His sentence might be lessened too because this chick was apparently some sort of meth-head with a record. But it's better if he just rots in jail and gets ass-raped. I hope he thinks of all the guys he scammed as his ass is getting stretched wider than the grand canyon.
